From the moment I called, I couldn’t have been in better hands. A service call was scheduled and Marty and his son promptly arrived, very well groomed (bonus points for that), they were extremely professional, competent and their pricing was great. It is quite clear that Marty goes above and beyond for his customers. I am so pleased with what he recommended. He is patient and teaches you how to use your new equipment. I was in there today- got the part I needed for a great price. Asked for further assistance on replacing a power button cap- received the guidance AND the part, for free! Kindness and competence are rare these days, but not at this shop. Highly recommended.

When my puppy decided to chew through the power cord of my Miele canister vacuum, I had to bring it to Marty at Ridgewood vacuum. Not only to replace the cord, he discussed everything that had to be done beforehand, because he thought the motor was too loud to replace that, and the filter. And when I picked it up the next day, it was ready quickly, made the outside look almost new. He was very reasonable gave me a discount and I would highly recommend his shop. He He is very knowledgeable. And I would definitely use him again.

Marty at Ridgewood Vacuum is an absolute gem. I initially called the shop asking if I could rent a vacuum cleaner, and his response blew me away: “No… but you can stop by and simply borrow one.” I honestly thought he was joking, but when I arrived, I realized he was completely serious.
